Hi, we are Janina Kepczynski alias Janinski and Florine Glück. We are professional illustrators from Vienna, Austria with 5 and 10 years of experience in the buisness. We were both looking for a community and the possibility to network in the field of illustration. Because of these interests we started the IllustrationLadies Network in 2018 in Vienna, Austria. Soon other cities followed and joined the global network.
The initial inspiration was a book we discoverd years ago: „Ladies Drawing Night“ by Rachel Cole, Julia Rothman, Leah Reah Goren from New York City where they encourage women to connect and draw together on a regular basis. From the very beginning we decided in Vienna we wanted to take this a step further and create a network along with the drawing nights and create a stage for local illustrators by showing their work on live events and the instagram features.
We know many women who are wonderful illustrators and draughtswomen, but who have difficulties with the business part of being self-employed and who don‘t stand up and tell everyone how great they are. We want to empower women and generate attention together and show how many great illustrators there are to discover!

Janina works in her studio Janinski and is specialized in Murals, Window paintings, live Paintings and all kinds of conceptional illustration for advertising.
Florine specializes in Editorial- and Book illustration. Same as Janina she loves networks and believes in the magic of doing things together.
